Pricing Logic of the Limitation

Prices rise with availability — the first print is always the cheapest. With each additional print sold, the price increases, underscoring the rarity and collector’s value of the artwork. The fewer copies remain, the more valuable each one becomes.

More works from the Collector’s Edition.

Split of Ember and Silence

The light cuts the room in two. She’s standing exactly where it gets interesting.

Naked between white and dark, her hand stretched upward, reaching for something that isn’t there. Or is. Hard to tell. Her back taut like a bow, ready for the shot. Or the crash.

Her head falls back, mouth open. She breathes in something no one sees, but everyone feels. Her shadow on the wall does the same — only more honestly.

The wood behind her stores warmth, the wall gives off cold. She’s the thermometer in between. Not measuring temperature, but the moment everything tips.

No tricks, no theater. Just skin and the point where thinking stops and existence begins. The light knows. It doesn’t ask.

Ecstasy isn’t a foreign word. Just another way of saying: finally arrived.

FAQ & Contact (Questions about the photography)

Most questions are answered here in two minutes — shipping, signature, paper, framing, AI, and limitation.

What is the Collector’s Edition and what do AP / AE mean?2026-02-13T14:47:00+01:00

The Collector’s Edition features large-format fine-art prints in strictly limited editions, each hand-signed and numbered. In addition to the main edition, there is a very small number of AP (Artist Proof) or AE (Artist Edition) copies—these are primarily reserved for the artist’s archive and are highly prized by collectors. Prices increase as the edition sells out, rewarding early collectors. Upon request, you can reserve a specific edition number, provided it is still available.

Will I receive a Certificate of Authenticity?2026-02-13T14:43:54+01:00

Yes. Every print is hand-signed and marked with its edition number. In addition, a physical Certificate of Authenticity is included, confirming the title, size, and edition. For permanent documentation, this certificate is also accessible online at any time.

Which printing processes and materials are used?2026-06-17T17:20:36+02:00

I use gallery pigment printing on Hahnemühle FineArt Baryta (325g) for maximum depth of detail and archival stability. Formats from 100 × 150 cm are mounted on Alu-Dibond for perfect flatness (and sealed behind acrylic glass on request). All works are designed for extreme longevity and museum standards.

Are the works delivered framed and are special sizes possible?2026-06-17T17:20:49+02:00

Framing (wood/aluminum) and special sizes are possible on request. For framed works I use Optium Museum Acrylic (Tru Vue): anti-reflective, 99% UV protection and shatterproof. Contact me at hello@martin-wieland-arts.com for an individual offer.

How are large-format works securely shipped?2026-02-13T14:40:53+01:00

Smaller formats are securely rolled, while large-format or mounted works are shipped flat in specialized art-safety packaging. All shipments are discreet, fully insured, and tracked. Please note that international orders outside the EU may be subject to customs duties.

How long does delivery take and is an exchange possible?2026-06-17T17:21:12+02:00

Standard formats are produced individually after ordering and are ready for dispatch after 3-4 days; large formats from 100×150 cm are produced externally (takes approx. 7-10 days). The statutory right of return applies, provided the work is returned undamaged in its original packaging. Important: Individual special sizes and custom-made products are excluded from exchange. The costs for the return of artworks (especially large formats by forwarding agent) shall be borne by the buyer. In the event of transport damage, please send me photos immediately for insured processing.
