Pure, direct, expressive – that’s how most of the pictures in my nude photography portfolio here are created: A woman, a room, a bit of light, and then you see what happens. No choreography, no “now please like this” and “now please differently”, no catalog of poses to be worked through. Someone is there, moves, stops, turns away – and at some point something is right.

Most of the shots are taken on location: apartments, hotels, corridors, stairwells, doors that are half open. Rooms that are actually intended for something else and suddenly become a stage. Light comes, goes, falls wrong, falls right. Sometimes all that remains is a glance, a line – and that’s enough.

Some motifs later appear in calendars, booksthe Collector’s Edition or as SIGNED.FRAMED.ICONIC others remain only here in the portfolio. It is an ongoing collection of years, in which bodies change, rooms change, but the tone remains the same. You can scroll through, click on, come back – if you can’t get an image out of your head, it has done its job.
