25 Years of Erotic Calendars – From 2000 to Today
How it all began – the first calendar in 2000
The very first calendar appeared in the year 2000. The idea came from a friend who financed the project, while I took care of the photography, printing, and organization. After that beginning, there was a one-year break. From the second calendar onward, I handled everything myself – from financing to production. Since then, every step has been in my hands.
Development and style over the years
Over time, the concept has taken a clear path. The format has deliberately remained the same – as a recognizable constant. At the same time, both design and photography have been refined step by step, now in close collaboration with my art director, who has been part of this journey for many years. In this way, the calendars have found their own character: a mixture of sensuality and mainstream – never too tame, but never too explicit. This balance is the appeal of my erotic calendars, and one reason why collectors and lovers who want to buy erotic photography return to my work again and again. Many collectors have been with me since the very first editions – and most of them continue to choose the new calendars each year.
This continuity shows that photography has long been recognized as a full-fledged art form – a development that institutions such as Tate Gallery have promoted for decades with their extensive photography collections.
Erotic calendars and books – two different worlds
With my books, things are different. There I have more creative freedom, and the images are allowed to be more radical and uncompromising.
The calendars, on the other hand, are a deliberate selection: images that belong together, that harmonize with one another. Different poses, varied situations – a diversity that carries you through an entire year.
Quality, limitation, and genuine signature
What makes them special to me is that everything is produced in Austria: high-quality, limited, numbered. Each calendar is signed by me – not pre-printed, but truly every single signature done by hand. So when you buy one of my erotic calendars, you don’t just hold a product in your hands – you hold a piece of genuine craftsmanship.
Buying erotic photography – in calendar format
The feedback has been consistently positive for 25 years. Of course, tastes differ – but in the end, I follow my instinct. And that instinct has turned the calendars into collector’s items. Many wait for them each year, turning the page on the first day of the month and enjoying twelve new images throughout the year. For many collectors, it is one of the most beautiful ways to buy erotic photography.
Alongside the calendars, I offer large-format works in the Collector’s Edition – for those who appreciate nude photography in imposing sizes. If you prefer smaller, framed formats, you’ll find them in SIGNED.FRAMED.ICONIC: a new limited piece every week, hand-framed, signed, and ready to hang.
Memories and anecdotes from 25 years
There are plenty of anecdotes. A week of shooting in Italy, spontaneous locations, chaotic situations. Once we even had to cancel because a national sports team happened to stay at the same hotel – and they were more interested in watching me work than in training.
The new Erotic Calendars 2026
Today, a quarter of a century later, I still feel excitement when the fresh calendars arrive from the printing house. For me, they are not routine products but grown collector’s pieces. Times have changed – but I remain true to this: I photograph women as I see them – sensual, strong, and desirable.
And that is why this year, once again, two new editions will be released: the Erotic Calendar 2026 in black and white, and the Erotic Calendar 2026 in color. Both strictly limited, signed by hand, and only available while the edition lasts.
