Pricing logic of the edition

Prices rise with demand — the first print is always the most affordable. With every additional print sold, the price increases, reinforcing the exclusive character and collector’s value of the artwork. The fewer copies remain, the more valuable each one becomes — an investment in a rare work of art.

You see a lot. And still nothing.

Light hits skin like an accusation. The shadows don’t make noise, but they stay. The mouth: open, not inviting. The gaze: awake, but not for you. There’s nothing to take because nothing is being offered — and that’s exactly what holds you.

The body doesn’t present itself — it exists. Naked doesn’t automatically mean available. The light does the work, but she doesn’t cooperate. You can see everything and still remain outside.

Your gaze has no share in it. It may stick, but it can’t touch. What hangs here doesn’t let you in. It makes you squirm. She stands there like a no with posture, like a yes without invitation. Presence without need. And if you want to know who’s projecting — don’t look at the picture. Look at yourself.

Framing options

A fitting frame doesn’t just protect your contemporary nude photography — it amplifies its impact. “Bodyscreen” gains a new dimension through our custom-made frames — becoming a focal point and giving your space a clear, elegant presence.

Our frames are precisely matched to the artwork and ensure optimal presentation. The acrylic glazing with 99% UV protection preserves color and brilliance for many years. It’s lightweight, shatter-resistant, and guarantees safe, long-term protection.

A high-quality frame is more than protection — it’s an investment that visibly underlines the value of the limited edition. Many collectors report that their works feel even more intense in the right frame — a detail that makes the difference.

FAQ & Contact (Questions about photography)

Most questions are answered here in two minutes — shipping, signature, paper, framing, AI, and edition limits.

What is the Collector’s Edition and what do AP / AE mean?2026-02-13T14:47:00+01:00

The Collector’s Edition features large-format fine-art prints in strictly limited editions, each hand-signed and numbered. In addition to the main edition, there is a very small number of AP (Artist Proof) or AE (Artist Edition) copies—these are primarily reserved for the artist’s archive and are highly prized by collectors. Prices increase as the edition sells out, rewarding early collectors. Upon request, you can reserve a specific edition number, provided it is still available.

Will I receive a Certificate of Authenticity?2026-02-13T14:43:54+01:00

Yes. Every print is hand-signed and marked with its edition number. In addition, a physical Certificate of Authenticity is included, confirming the title, size, and edition. For permanent documentation, this certificate is also accessible online at any time.

Which printing methods and materials are used?2026-02-13T14:32:00+01:00

We use gallery-grade pigment printing on Hahnemühle FineArt Baryta (325g) for maximum detail and archival stability. Formats from 100 × 150 cm upwards are mounted on Alu-Dibond for perfect flatness (and can be sealed behind acrylic glass upon request). All works are designed to meet museum standards and ensure extreme longevity.

Are the works delivered framed and are custom sizes possible?2026-02-13T14:28:20+01:00

Custom framing (wood/aluminum) and bespoke sizes are available upon request. For framed works, we use Optium Museum Acrylic (Tru Vue): anti-reflective, 99% UV-protective, and shatterproof. Contact me at hello@martin-wieland-arts.com for a personalized quote.

How are large-format works securely shipped?2026-02-13T14:40:53+01:00

Smaller formats are securely rolled, while large-format or mounted works are shipped flat in specialized art-safety packaging. All shipments are discreet, fully insured, and tracked. Please note that international orders outside the EU may be subject to customs duties.

How long does delivery take and can I return a work?2026-02-13T14:37:07+01:00

Standard formats are custom-made to order and ready for shipment within 3-4 days; large formats (100×150 cm and up) are produced externally (approx. 7–10 days). Legal return rights apply, provided the artwork is returned undamaged and in its original packaging. Please note: Custom sizes and bespoke productions are excluded from returns. The buyer bears the shipping costs for returns (especially for large formats via freight forwarding). In case of transit damage, please send photos immediately for insurance processing.
