Provocative contemporary collage art: acrylic overpainting on Aludibond, hand-signed and available as a unique piece.
Madonna in a color frenzy – Contemporary collage art
She stands like a modern sculpture – without marble, without myths, just body and color, sweat and breath. The red veil plays around her hair like a burning crown, while the acrylic strokes run across her skin like memories of forgotten nights. The pubic area remains hidden, not out of shame, but as a silent middle finger to all those who want to reduce art to decency. This is not about beauty. This is about life, so real that you can almost smell the breath of the moment.
Modern Madonnas – collage art that cannot be categorized
The series breaks expectations. No smooth, decorative pictures for sterile rooms. This one looks, asks questions and tears up the beautiful appearance. Paint, sand, varnish – layer by layer, art is created that remains because it does not adapt.
Every work is different. Sometimes collage, sometimes overpainting, sometimes installation. Techniques change, the approach remains unpredictable – art lives when it constantly reinvents itself.
Technology & materials
Unique, analog, tangible. There is no retouching here: It is layered, torn, applied, destroyed again and rebuilt until the surface develops depth and its own dynamic.
- Technique: acrylic, ink, photo paper, overpainting on Aludibond
- Substrate material: Aludibond
- Format: 103 × 153 cm
- Authenticity: Hand-signed, certified, unique
“The pictures look good online. But when I saw it at home, it was great. Martin suggested the right frame for it and it was just right. It wasn’t cheap, but it really takes the picture to another level.”
The creative process
No fixed scheme. Each work is created from material and intuition. The collages are not planned in advance – they develop in the process. Traces of manual work, small irregularities, deliberate imperfections remain visible: human touch instead of machine smoothness.
Photographic basis: Martin Wieland. Collage, overpainting and combination of materials: art director Dietmar Halbauer. The exchange makes each work multi-layered and unique.

Framing – protection & effect
Already stylishly framed (shadow gap/Guggenheim). The frame allows the work to “float”, is not distracting and enhances the presence of the collage.
Collector’s value & unique character
For collectors who want authenticity: each piece is a genuine original, created in analog form, signed by hand, with a certificate of authenticity.
